Details

Create your own printed chalkboard and make your photo booth props unique to you. Your design will be made into a sturdy mdf photo booth prop which will look great held up in photos.

Very simple designs can be made on a phone but for more complex designs that require re positioning and editing of design elements you'll need to use a device with a mouse

This size is just under A4 and you can add text lines up to 45 characters long. For photo props try to keep your text very brief, large and clear.

Up to three lines is recommended so that the text remains readable in the shots.

You can also upload your own designs so that logos, special fonts and images are no problem.

The finished item can look like a real chalkboard but is in fact printed so it won't rub off on your clothes, it's always sharp and clear and looks great on camera. It is not designed to be written on with chalk.

How to design your own chalkboard.

You can use the fonts and clip art provided or upload your own design or image, backgrounds or images. When uploading your own design it can be colour or black and white. Uploaded images should be at least 800px wide. Format should be .jpeg .gif or .png.

Click create design to start editing your prop.

Six tabs boxes allow you to add text, clip art, upload images, change background and border colours and to save to SillyJokes’ gallery.

Use Add Text box, type the text in the Text box, check it's right, select the font and colour. You can move/edit individual text lines after you have added the text. Each line can be completely changed. If you want one word in a line to be different to the rest in the line you need to write each piece of text in the text box on its own line.

Click on the item on the prop so you can resize it, move it and rotate it to suit you. Great fun.

When you are happy with the design, double check it for spelling and date errors then click I’m done before clicking Add to basket. After adding to basket you can at that point re edit the same design to create second prop by clicking the Edit Design button but YOU MUST add to basket first or your first design will be lost.
