Straw Boater Hat or Skimmer worn from the beginning of the 1900s by Barber Shop Quartets, punters, school children and gentlemen of every water.
This Straw Hat is great value as a fancy dress prop and ideal for a 1920s look.
It also makes a great starter base for a decorated Easter Bonnet Parade.

Having worked in the hat trade for many years, I have never as yet seen a proper boater, for many years. I mean with a strong very flat brim and straight sides. This was all of fifty years ago. The firm that I worked for was G.a. Dunn and Co. hat specialised

parcel arrived today only 12 hours after me placing the order.I have used yuor company twice and i think that the joke is on yuor competitors .the straw hats are brilliant and everyone here loves them .thanks for renewing my faith in the retail section.

I ordered a straw boater for a fancy dress party on Saturday ..It didn't arrive as promised on Friday however i have never encountered such amazing customer service as I received when I phoned to query it . The lady that dealt with me was honest and very apologetic . She Immediately dealt with the problem dispatched another hat and also refunded the delivery cost . The hat arrived at 8.20am on Saturday in time for the party . First class Service .

Thank you so much for your extremely prompt attention to the delivery of 8 straw boaters. We are going to a fancy dress Ball on the Unicorn (the world’s last intact warship from the days of sail) in Dundee next weekend and the theme is ‘An Edwardian Yachting Party’ – so we’ll all look fine in our Boaters!!
